This is a complex of large volumes, that house the entire cargo facilities of ZIA international airport in Dhaka. The main cargo building is an imposing volume containing 3,00,000 sft of space. Large spans are used to make the space as free as possible. The longer sides of the building express the RCC frame of the structure of beams and columns while the ends express a sweeping arch that rise from the ground up to a height of 65 feet at mid span. The administration block is separated from the cargo building by a road and is linear and mildly curves to reflect the arch of the main building. The administrative building is connected to the cargo building through bridges one level up from the ground.
