The functional spaces are distributed in 13 floors and three levels of basement for parking and electro-mechanical services. Three service cores housing the lifts, staircases, washrooms and service ducts connect all floors from basement to top. Parking for 344 cars are provided in the basement along with electro- mechanical functions. The architectural solution is achieved by opening up the building at ground level, creating a 95′ wide entrance porch with 24 feet clear height, leading to public lobby over monumental steps, and to a separate smaller (47′ wide) lobby for the DSE offices. The main lobby leads to a central Atrium space, 90’square at base tapering to 66′ square at top, flooded by natural light from the top forming the focal point for the upper floor functions. The Atrium leads to three service cores and two capsule lifts and a stair for upward movement to various parts of the building.
